New York Robotics ("NYR", "we", "us") operates Relay, the member directory and introduction service at newyorkroboticsmembers.lovable.app. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Account details you provide: name, email, organization, role, and profile information such as your asks and gives.
  • Your mobile phone number, if you choose to add it and opt in to text messages.
  • Messages you exchange with Relay in the app, by SMS or by WhatsApp.
  • Public information from links you share with us (for example your LinkedIn or company website), only to pre-fill your profile for your review.

How we use it

  • To run your membership, suggest relevant introductions and send connection requests you approve.
  • To send account notifications, connection updates and member digests on the channels you turn on.
  • To keep the service safe and improve it.

SMS and mobile information

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except with service providers (such as our messaging provider, Twilio) solely to deliver the messages you asked for.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.

Sharing

Your contact details are shared with another member only after both of you agree to an introduction. We use trusted service providers for hosting, messaging and AI processing under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information when required by law.

Retention and your choices

We keep your information while your membership is active. You may update your profile, change notification settings, or ask us to delete your account at any time.
