Campus Climate Tech (https://www.linkedin.com/company/campus-climate-tech-launchpad/) and Columbia Climate Fund (https://www.linkedin.com/company/columbia-climate-fund/) are bringing together a critical mass of faculty, postdocs, PhDs, and Masters & undergrad engineering student leaders focused on advancing climate tech across top research institutions in the Northeast.

Doors open at 11 am and programming starts at noon. Programming ends at 5 pm followed by networking through 6 pm.

​1) Panels on commercializing university research

​2) Major industry players will pitch the innovation areas where they see the greatest opportunity for academia & startups to advance

​3) Opportunities to present your research

​4) A workshop to match with your future co-founder and a primer on techno-economic analyses

​5) NYCEDC panel on climate tech resources and initiatives being driven across NYC

​6) Plenty of networking time + food and beverages will be provided!

This initiative offers a front-row view into the next wave of energy, robotics, and other deep tech innovation emerging from leading universities. Startups will be able to connect with investors, industry leaders, and a unique mix of technical talent from top schools.

Overview: 

A cross-university conference to foster greater connection between climate & deep tech innovators across schools and disciplines. 

Timing: January 23 | doors open at 11 am, event starts at Noon, and programming ends / networking begins at 5 pm 

Location: Cornell Tech - Verizon Center on Roosevelt Island (accessible by car, bus, subway, and sky tram)

Focus Areas: Applied Physics & Advanced Energy, Chemical Engineering & Critical Materials, Mechanical Engineering & Thermal Systems, Robotics, Autonomy & AI, Bioengineering, Resilience & Geoengineering
